FEMA Hermits Peak Wildfire Recovery Campaign
In response to the 2022 Calf Canyon/Hermit’s Peak Fire—the largest wildfire in New Mexico’s history—we created a campaign to encourage affected communities to file claims with FEMA. Designed to empower and resonate, the campaign focused on authentic representation and connection.
Using a handcrafted, collage-style approach, I conceptualized the design system, incorporating textured paper elements and imagery of native vegetation and regional landscapes to reflect the area’s identity. An earthy, grounding color palette evoked stability and resilience, while the campaign spanned OOH, digital, social, print, and video to ensure broad reach and accessibility. I also provided visual assets that authentically connected with the community through video.
